As someone transitioning from military service to civilian employment, I found the Purdue University Northwest CWCT program to be the perfect bridge.
As someone transitioning from military service to civilian employment, I found the Purdue University Northwest CWCT program to be the perfect bridge. The program recognized my military experience and helped me translate those skills into cybersecurity competencies valued by employers. The certification preparation was thorough, and I passed both my Security+ and CISSP exams on the first attempt. The coalition’s employer partnerships were crucial – I was hired through a direct referral from one of their industry partners. Three years later, I’m now managing a security operations team and regularly return to CWCT as a guest speaker to help other veterans make similar transitions.
